Fresnel Lens Replicas

Designed by lens preservationist Dan Spinella - Custom built by Enberg Mold and Tool These Fresnel lens replicas are made of optical acrylic prisms, solid brass frames and cast iron and brass pedestals. They are authentic full scale replicas.  The prisms are machined and polished according to Fresnel's original formulas.

Tinted Acrylic Prisms

The greenish hue that is apparent in historic Fresnel prisms can be replicated.  The photo on the left, shows acrylic prisms with no color adjacent to historic prisms.  In the photo on the right, acrylic prisms on the bottom row have been tinted to match the historic prisms directly above.  The Coast Guard used these replica prisms along with historic prisms to resore a 4th order fixed lens.  See photo below.

This is the restored 4th order lens.  The six ring segments
on the top of the lens are original prisms.  The remaining
segments are tinted acrylic prisms.

Pricing
